We were thrilled when Inner City Law Center contacted us to produce their 17th Annual Awards Luncheon video. We knew the type of work Inner City Law did for the community, and we wanted to be a part of it.
We spotlighted 3 Inner City Law cases, one whereby a veteran who was unaware of the benefits owed to her until she met a representative from ICLC, and 2 others cases that highlighted tenants being taken advantage of by abusive landlords. We were not surprised to learn the extensive time, and hard work ICLC provided to the successful resolution involving their clients.
Inner City Law Center is the only provider of legal services on Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles, combating slum housing while developing strategies to end homelessness.
ICLC is recognized for their expertise in housing issues, veterans’ benefits, and homelessness prevention. The staff of 44, including 24 attorneys, provides quality legal representation for people who have nowhere else to turn. They fight for justice for low-income tenants, working poor families, immigrants, people who are living with HIV/AIDS or are disabled, and veterans.
