Verdict Videos was asked to produce a presentation video for the Emilio Nares Foundation’s 12th annual Harvest for Hope fundraising event, September 13, 2015. ENF provides services for low-income, underprivileged families whose children are battling cancer. ENF’s flagship program, Ride with Emilio (RWE) is a transportation service, which ensures that no children miss a cancer treatment due to lack of transportation. Together with Stalwart Communications, our producers implemented the ENF vision to inspire people to donate to this righteous cause.
About ENF
Two years after losing their precious son, Emilio, Richard and Diane Nares started the Emilio Nares Foundation (ENF). The goal of the foundation is to assist families with children who are battling childhood leukemia and other forms of childhood cancer. Many people are not aware that in our country 10,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year. Two out of every eight children will relapse. This means that chemotherapy will not work for them in the long term.
ENF provides programs and services for low-income, underprivileged families whose children are battling cancer in San Diego. Our flagship program, Ride with Emilio, is a transportation service, taking families to the hospital for their child’s chemo, radiation, or other important medical appointments. Ride with Emilio has been honored by President Obama and the US Surgeons General as a model program. In addition, I had the honor to be among the top ten finalists to become CNN Hero of the Year 2013!
